Overview
A radiology technician takes images for medical diagnosis using equipment such as x-rays, CT scans and MRIs. Many radiology techs are employed in hospitals or physician’s offices. Employers report that there has been difficulty in recent years in hiring enough radiology techs. Because this is a growing area in the healthcare profession, the job outlook is very good with radiology techs typically making $43,350 a year on average.* see below

- Weber State University
- Salt Lake Community College
- Dixie State College
